Document Description
Approval of a Memorandum for a Time Critical Removal Action (TCRA) by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to Health & Safety Code, chapter 6.8 as submitted on July 11, 2008 by the Regents of the University of California. The TCRA focuses on excavation and removal to mitigate ash and debris impacted with excessive levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) within the Western Transition Area (WTA) of the University of California Richmond Field Station site. The purpose of the project is to mitigate impacted ash and debris to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs) and to minimize potential migration or spreading of contamination.
