Document Description
Clovis Community Medical Center is planning a major expansion to its Healthcare Campus at Herndon and Temperance Avenues. The need for the expansion is due to the accelerating bed demand in Clovis as a result of the high rate of population growth in the area.
The expansion is divided into two major phases: (1) a ten-year expansion plan for the additional facilities and improvements that will be constructed by 2018; and (2) a long range site development master plan for 25-30 years in the future.
The improvements during the 10-year time span will be the subject of an amended CUP. The long range expansion plan is more conceptual in nature and is intended for use in addressing long term planning and environmental issues. Future development entitlements will be required to implement the long term plan.
