The UAC Turnout will consist of two 48-inch diameter steel discharge pipes that manifold into one 48-inch diameter steel discharge pipe, a new reinforced concrete metering vault structures that houses a 48-inch magnetic flowmeter, a control building, safety devices, flow recorder and oher related appurtenances. The flow recorder will be located within an instrument cabinet installed as part of this work and be connected to DWR's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System. The maximum design capacity of the UAC Turnout will be 100 cubic feet per second to provide a maximum monthly delivery of 3,000 acre-feet. The UAC Turnout provides the water source for the UAC Recharge project.
