The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Mr. Ken Gray. The proposed project would consist of elevating the level of the sand bar by 3 to 5 feet by pushing beach sand from adjacent portions from the ocean side of the beach. The berm along this area would be approximately 50 feet wide and 200 feet long. One to three dozers would be used to perform the work and would access the site from the north end of the beach. Work would typically occur in April, May, or June. No sand would be imported to or from the beach.
