Document Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), in the cooperation with the California Prison Health Care Receivership Corporation (CPR) and the federal Receiver, propose to add up to 96 PWC beds to the previously approved CHCF Stockton project. Additionally, since the approval of the CHCF project, the design of the housing units reduced the overall bed being constructed from 1,734 to 1,722 beds. The addition of the 96 beds will increase the total beds constructed at the CHCF project to 1,818 beds (a net increase of 84 beds to the number evaluated in the 2009 EIR). These modifications require no adjustment to internal floor space utilization and would be accommodated by the existing site plan and building design as analyzed in the 2009 EIR.
