Remove 4 abandoned and failing old logging road stream crossings and associated culverts along Upper Wilder Creek and Peasley Gulch. Approximately 100' of road bed will be ripped at each crossing site with heavy equipment. Remove outside soil berm and inboard ditch to restore natural topography. Remove artificial fill and culverts at stream crossings, replace with rock boulders and small imported aggregate rock. Install rock weirs, log stops, and pools to re-establish stream grade. Spread local stockpiled duff and leaf liter in project areas that are subjected to ground disturbing activities to prevent erosion.
