Document Description
The project is located on the University of California Campus located within the arboretum at 1156 High Street, within the City of Santa Cruz, County of Santa Cruz, State of California; Assessor Parcel Number (APN): 001-011-13. The Project is limited to the construction of 31 rock step pools, 4 rock sills with roughened channel, 32 log drop/log vane structures, 6 board check dams with base flow notches on Moore Creek and Jordan gulch, and removal of woody and herbaceous vegetation and excavation of sediment from the College 8 Detention Basin to restore functionality. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0099-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Dean Fitch, University of California Santa Cruz.
