Document Description
Project consists of approval of a Final Response Plan by the DTSC for the 3280 Scott@ The Square Site prior to its redevelopment. DTSC is overseeing cleanup at the Site under agreements pursuant to the CA Land Reuse and Revitalization Act of 2004, CA Health and Safety Code Section 25395.60 et seq. ("CLRRA"), with 3200 Coronado Drive, LLC and 3130 Coronado Drive LLC. The purpose of the Response Plan is to reduce the potential risk to human health from the contaminants of concern, arsenic and lead in soil.
Response activities to be conducted pursuant to the Response Plan include one or a combination of the following approaches:
- Approach 1 - Relocating and consolidating impacted soil beneath a physical cap (building foundations) and/or
- Approach 2 - Capping impacted soil in place beneath building foundations, other hardscape (parking or patio areas), or two feet of clean fill in landscaped area.
