Document Description
The project would widen 24th St. to the north and encompass the SR 99 interchange and auxiliary lane, Oak St./24th St. intersection, 24th St. widening to the north, and the 24th St. complete area (one-way section of 23rd and 24th Streets). Widening to the north along 24th St. would add two travel lanes (one in each direction). The proposed roadway alignment would be shifted north of the existing alignment about 17 feet, which would minimize the right-of-way acquisition on the south side of 24th St. required for the roadway widening. Impacts include full and partial right-of-way acquisitions and reconstruction of the Carrier Canal on the north and south sides of 24th St.
