Phase 1 consits of demolition of an existing single family welling, abandonment of a portion of the shared access road with 5940 Thornhill and 1675 Gouldin Road, construction of a new access bridge over Temescal Creek, reconfiguration of the site circulation and parking, and removal of 65 trees, 56 of which fall under the City of Oakland tree preservation ordinance. Phase 2 involves construction of a new sanctuary building between 5,000 and 5,500 square feet and related site improvements. The existing sanctuary would be converted into a community hall and fellowship space.
