Document Description
The project proposes the following revision to the Roeding Park and Fresno Chaffee Zoo Facility Master Plans (the "Master Plans") due to the designation of the High Speed Trail alignment on Golden State Boulevard, abutting the eastern boundary of the park: 1) removal of the Golden State Entrance and maintenance of the existing Olive and Belmont Avenue entrance as public entrances; 2) removal of the ticket booth associated with Golden State Boulevard entrance and its relocation inside the Belmont entrance; 3) relocation and reconfiguration of the ponds (required to be relocated pursuant to mitigation measure 4.1 (a) in the approximate vicinity of the Golden State Entrance; and 4) removal of 100 on-street parking spaces along Golden State Boulevard. These revisions together are considered a single amendment.
