Document Description
The project will reduce hazard fuels within 10,200 acres of the South Shore of the Lake Tahoe Basin wild land urban intermix in order to change fire behavior resulting in lower fire severity and reduced rates of spread. The project will also improve healthy wildfire habitat, restoring a forest structure with increased resistance to drought, disease, and insects, and restoring aspen strands.
