Document Description
Consolidated Amended and Restated Redevelopment Plan increases the cap on collection of tax increment from 400 million dollars to 1.5 billion dollars. The cap increase would fund pass-through payments to other taxing entities and implementation of the Redevelopment Plan for transit and railway improvements, economic development and property acquisition, building and facade improvements, public infrastructure, hazardous materials cleanup, and affordable housing. The Redevelopment Plan activities and programs are estimated to cause direct and indirect growth through 2030 of an additional 3,017 housing units, 586,870 sf of commercial development, and 554,700 sf of industrial development.
