Document Description
This project consists of sampling soil, concrete and ground water (at existing wells) and decontamination but contains contingencies for: (1) removal of any concrete which cannot be decontaminated to meet the closure performance standards; (2) limited excavation of contaminated soil; or (3) the installation of a SVE as necessary to meet the closure performance standards. Whether the SVE and the excavation activities will be necessary will depend ont he degree of contamination encountered during the closure sampling. The project decontamination, sampling and contingent soil and concrete cleanup or removal is associated with the closure of the three hazardous waste management units.
