Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to authorize $15 million for a Public Sector Water Efficiency Partnership Demonstration Program (Program). Metropolitan would work with member agencies to identify public agencies within Metropolitan's service areas that have high potential to achieve acclerated conservation or water recycling use and enter into agreements with those agencies to implement immediate water efficiency measures.

The proposed project consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. The proposed project consists of data collection, research, experimental management, and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to the environmental resource. This may be strictly for information gathering purposes, or as part of a study leading to an action that a public agency has not yet approved, adopted, or funded.
