Document Description
The proposed project would create approximately 45 acres of native wetlands mitigation habitat and native transitional uplands habitat. The project would establish a permanent surface connection to the Tijuana River, expand the functional floodplain south of the river and west of the Smuggler's Gulch Channel, and provide a system of pedestrian/equestrian trails connected to existing trail segments located throughout the TRVRP, Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge, and Border Field State Park.
