Document Description
A proposal to expand the City of Shafter's wastewater collection system in an area of the City not currently served by sewer. The proposed collection system will consist of approximately 12,434 linear for of new 8" sewer line with 206.4" sewer laterals extending to the property lines at all existing developed parcels. The system will include sewer wyes with plugs for future connection to all potential developable lots (approximately 12) within the project limits. All work will occur within existing streets and public rights-of-way within the City limits of Shafter. Approximately 1,250 linear feet of existing sewer trunk line will connect the expansion area to an existing lift station located approximately 1/4 mile south of Tulare Avenue.
