Document Description
The historic Catholic Cemetry (.79 acres) sits on top of a hill to the west of the town of Shasta within Shasta State Historic Park. The cemetary has been vandalized over the years; the most recent incident occurring in 2005 reslted in the removal of 12 damaged grave makers to storage. The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) proposes to contract with a conservation team who will prepare a condition and treatment proposal for the the purpose of evaluating, stabilizing, repairing, and resetting or storage of the grave markers.
