This project involves: (1) describing project baseline conditions and selecting a sample frame; (2) developing a database of State-funded restoration projects; (3) assembling background and water quality data; (4) inputting site locations into a Geographic Information System database and project data into Wetland Tracker; (5) providing outreach to landowners and restoration project managers; (6) providing outreach to stakeholders on the value of wetland assessments and assessment tools; (7) generating assessments for a randomized sample of wetland restoration projects; (8) conducting California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) assessments of 80 to 100 State-funded restoration sites; (9) inputting data into the CRAM Information Technology database; (10) conducting water quality practice effectiveness monitoring; and (11) creating and maintaining a database of water quality monitoring results.
