Document Description
The damage to the sites consists of intermittent wave wash of the unprotected waterside slope of the Yolo Bypass East Levee, north of the Sacramento Bypass. The intermittent damages range between 4 feet to 100 feet long and up to 3 feet high, extending along a 4,000-foot reach of the waterside levee slope. The repair work is needed to restore the levee to pre-storm condition to prevent the possible destabilization of the levee slope and resulting levee failure. Excavating in steps and backfilling the 2-to-3 feet high wave wash damage with impervious fill along the 4,000-foot reach will restore the slope. The repair area will then be seeded and mulched.
