Two members of the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority (Firebaugh Canal Water District and Central California Irrigation District) propose to pump groundwater (up to 15,000 AFY) for blending and use with CCID and develop up to 5,000 AFY from conservation and/or temporary land fallowing, for a maximum of 20,000 AFY, transfer of substitute water to certain CVP agricultural, municipal, and industrial water users in the San Luis Unit and San Felipe Division of the CVP for as long as 25 consecutive water years.
