Document Description
The City of Industry, Phase IIB Recycled Water Project (Project) is an extension of the existing recycled water system from the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) San Jose Creek Water reclamation Plant (SJCWRP). The Project consists of four phases which will supply tertiary treated recycled water to parks, golf courses, schools and green areas in the cities of Walnut and West Covina and portions of unincorporated Los Angeles County. The Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District (Upper District) has conducted additional investigations since the adoption of the Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) on September 4, 2001, in order to optimize the delivery and use of the recycled water throughout the Project. As a result, the third and fourth phases of the Project have been reconfigured.
