Document Description
The project proposes to add managed lanes to Interstate 805 (I-805) from Palomar Road to State Route 94 (SR-94). As part of the project it is proposed to construct Direct Access Ramps to and from the north at East Palomar Street; Rapid Transit Bus in-line stations at East H Street in Chula Vista and at Plaza Boulevard in National City; and Transit/High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) direct connectors for the northbound I-805 to westbound SR-94 (and reverse) and for the northbound I-805 to northbound Interstate 15 (and reverse) moves and add auxiliary lanes or Single Occupancy Vehicle (SOV) lanes where needed to maintain traffic. The number of Managed Lanes would vary by alternative.
