Reasons for Exemption
The Alliance Project will have no negative environmental, cultural, or economic impacts. Information will be collected on birds, fish, and macro invertebrates at approved monitoring sites along the Merced River. All necessary permits from National Marine Fisheries Service, CA Dept. of Fish and Game, United States Geological Survey, and Yosemite National Park are in place.
