Document Description
The MVRWRF has a tertiary treatment capacity of a 15.8 mgd. The project will correct process deficiencies and increase secondary treatment capacity from 12.0 mgd to 15.8 mgd, and tertiary treatment capacity from 15.8 mgd to 18.0 mgd. The Project will upgrade the MVRWRF by 1) constructing new electrical buildings, return influent pumping station, return activated sludge and waste activated sludge pump station, aeration basins, secondary polymer facility and clarifiers; 2) modifying the existing chemical building; and, 3) installing new instrumentation and control systems, power supply and distribution facilities, tertiary filters, and ultraviolet, chlorination and dechlorination disinfection facilities.
