Document Description
The project is an Amendment to the 1989 Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) to expand the campus boundary to include the 4 acre Stockton Boulevard Research Center project site and designate its land use as Instruction and Research Zone and Low Rise Height Zone. The Industruction and Research Zone applies to instructional and research buildings such as the proposed project which would accommodate stem cell research; other Instruction and Research Zone land use existing at UC Davis Medical Center are located in the core of the campus. The Low Rise Building Height Zone allows buildings up to three stories in height, which is appropriate for buildings on the periphery of the campus including Stockton Boulevard Research Center.
