Document Description
Note: CPUC as next-in-line permitting agency
Southern California Edison proposes to construct and operate a new 230-kV transmission line and 230-kV substation in Riverside County, CA, which was originally described in the certified 2013 Final EIR prepared by the city of Riverside. Residential and commercial developments in the area have since necessitated modifications to the proposed project, including construction of approximately 2 miles of the 230-kV TL in an underground duct bank, refinements to the proposed overhead 230-kV TL route, relocation of existing overhead distribution lines to accommodate the new 230-kV TL, and temporary use of an additional staging yard to store construction materials during construction. The CPUC is preparing a Subsequent EIR to address these changes.
