Document Description
Caltrans proposes to convert the existing two-lane conventional highway into a four-lane, divided, controlled-access expressway. Proposed improvements on the existing roadway include placing an asphalt concrete overlay, flattening cut slopes, widening fill slopes, widening paved shoulders, and installing a median and inside/outside paved shoulders. The project also would require constructing a new Freeman Gulch Bridge, widening or replacing the existing Freeman Gulch Bridge and upgrading intersections.
