Document Description
A series of storms struck Northern California and Nevada in late December and early January 2005/2006. The Sacramento River, Truckee River and associated tributaries reached flood stage. High flows, high tides and winds were experienced in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The project sites, known as Site 20051230-005-007 (RD-999) [Site 007], Site 20051230-005-008 ((RD-000) [Site 008], and Site 20051230-005-009 (RD-999) [Site 009], lie within the jurisdiction of Reclamation District No. 999 in Yolo County, California. The design and construction of the proposed emergency repairs at these sites have been approved by USACE, who will also be in charge of conducting repairs at each site.
