Document Description
The California Department of Health Services sent Fruitridge Vista Water Company (FVWC) Compliance Order 01-09-05-CO-002 on August 29, 2005. The Compliance Order directs FVWC to solve its capacity and low pressure problems. The capacity and pressure problems are due to groundwater contamination by methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether and perchloroethylene. The proposed project would replace Wells 1, 2, and 12 with three new wells (18, 19, and 20), construct two interties with the City of Sacramento's water system with booster pump stations and install transmission lines to connect the new infrastructure with the Company's service area. In response to the Compliance Order, the proposed project would solve FVWC's supply capacity and system pressure problems.
