The Rocklin USD is proposing to purchase approximately four acres of land and to construct and operate a Montessori charter school facility with capacity to accommodate an initial enrollment of 225 students with an ultimate enrollment level of 270 students in a regular year. The proposed school facility, Maria Montessori Charter Academy, would be located in the Stanford Ranch subdivision in the City of Rocklin. Exhibit 2-1 displays the project region. Attendance area boundaries would also be adopted for the charter school as part of the proposed project.
