Document Description
The City is proposing to upgrade the treatment facilities and expand the treatment capacity of the wastewater treatment plant to meet Water Discharge Requirement (WDR) Order No. R5-2002-0198 established in 2002 by the Central Valley RWQCB. The project would increase the treatment capacity to 4.5 mgd and effluent disposal capacity to 4.5 mgd to meet the demands of the existing service area as well as the projected growth in the service area through the year 2028. This would be accomplished through the addition of a parallel 2.0 oxidation ditch process, while reducing the capacity of the existing trickling filter to 2.5 mgd.
