Document Description
The Operator proposes a drainage system improvement project on the north bank of Sand Creek in the City of Antioch, California in Contra Costa County. The project site is east of Deer Valley Road. The project is part of the construction of a 179 acre development for adult, residential housing. The drainage improvement is limited to the removal of 200 cubic yards of rip-rap will be back-filled with native soil. In addition approximately 150 feet of an open drainage trench will be converted into a pipeline that varies in diameter from 48 inches to 60 inches. The project will impact 0.11 acres below the ordinary high water mark. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) are executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0116-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Mike Serpa on behalf of Aviano Farms, LLC.
