Document Description
The proposed project includes the construction and operation of landfill gas electrical generators and a biosolids drying facility. The site is comprised of approximately 2.7 acres and is located entirely within the existing boundaries of the Conditional Use Permit for Toland Road Landfill. The biosolids drying facility will import biosolids from local wastewater treatment plants and will use landfill gas to power electrical generators and biosolids dryers to process the biosolids to a level specified by the end-use of the biosolids. Potential beneficial uses to the direct biosolids includes alternative cover at Toland Road Landfill and commercial use.
