Document Description
Within Samuel P. Taylor State Park, a series of test hole borings will be dug to determine the type and quality of the soil located in the region of a recent slip-out. The results of the boring will be used to design and engineering repairs to the slip-out. Such repairs will be subject to further review under CEQA. The slip-out is located on the Old Railroad Grade, between the maintenance yard and the campground. The test hole borings are to be located and drilled on the paved portion of the Old Railroad Grade or off the pavement, on the shoulder of the road. The test hole borings are to be approximately 4-6" in diameter. The depth will be determined at the time of the drillings.
