Document Description
DTSC approved modification to a previously approved project, a 23-lot Planned Development on a 24.7-acre parcel, by including the removal and disposal of contaminated soil. This modification was made under a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) for soil remediation at the 24.7 acre Kemper Woods Subdivision site due to the contamination of Arsenic, Lead, Dieldrin, DDE, and DDT. Preparation and approval of the RAW by DTSC is pursuant to Chapter 6.8 of the CA Health and Safety Code. activities to be conducted pursuant to the approved RAW include: 1) excavation and off-site disposal of 650 cubic yards of contaminated soil; 2) stockpiling soil on-site; and 3) transportation of contaminated soil off-site.
