Document Description
The City of Modesto is proposing the adoption of a Wastewater Master Plan Update, and new wastewater rates and capacity charges to fund the projects identified in the Wastewater Master Plan Update. The Wastewater Master Plan Update describes improvements to the City's wastewater collection system and treatment plants planned to be implemented over the next 20 years. These improvements include new, replacement, and rehabilitated wastewater collection facilities, including pipelines, lift stations and appurtenant structures; expansion of portions of the primary treatment plant at Sutter Avenue and the secondary treatment plant at Jennings Road; elevation and flood protection of facilities at the primary treatment plant, a new outfall connecting the primary treatment plant to the secondary treatment plan; and advanced treatment and additional disinfection at the secondary treatment plant.
