Document Description
The project includes extension of sections of medians between Yale Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue, installation of a new traffic signal system at intersection of Dale Avenue/Troy Lane and University Avenue, intersection modifications of all angled side streets and Yale Avenue, modification of Baltimore and Spring Street with University Avenue and removal right turn slip lanes, installation of two mid block crosswalks and removal of existing and installation of new landscaping. The intention is to provide a safer corridor for pedestrians, and vehicles by reducing the pedestrian crossing time, as better access to certain local streets by installing a traffic signal at the intersection of Dale Avenue/Troy Lane and University Avenue, and more aesthetically pleasing medians by removing asphalt paving or tired trees replacing with new plant material.
