Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0223-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, David Ragland.
The proposed project will widen the existing bridge crossing the Canal from two to four lanes and will include a median, bike lanes, and sidewalks. The concrete barrier and water line on the west side of the bridge will be removed for the project, construction will increase the total width of the bridge by 40 feet 3 inches in total to a width of 93 feet. The bridge length will remain the same. A new 12 in. water line will be constructed on the western side of the bridge. The canal will be dewatered by placing a coffer dam on the west side of the bridge. Ten 18 in. octagonal concrete pile-type piers and two abutments wil lbe constructed to keeping consist with the existing bridge design. A total of 0.09 acres of 1/4 ton rock slope protection will be placed on both banks of the canal for stabilization.
