Document Description
The project proposes to protect Anaheim Bay Bridge by reconstructing the existing abutments and roadway embankments to a 1:1.55 slope, placing rock slope protection over the slope to join the existing eroded rocks up to an elevation of 4 m, and installing erosion control blanket from elevation of 4 m up to the top of the slope; replacing 2 metal beam guard rail ends; installing chain link fence; constructing a maintenance vehicle pullout; lining existing drainage pipes, constructing 4 new inlets and reconstructing 7 existing outlets. The project includes landscaping and restoration work. It includes grading of the north-east existing roadway embankment, adjacent to the rock slope protection, to a 1:2.5 slope and its re-vegetation. The CE/PCE issued on 3/1/06 supercedes the CE/PCE issued on March 28, 2005 and has been updated due to the change in the scope of work. The additional impacts are minimal, i.e., less than 35 sq. meters due to the additional local rock slope protection at the reconstructed 7 existing outlets. The project will impact 0.02 acres of wetlands and will create 0.08 acres of wetlands.
