Document Description
The project is proposed to meet the requirements of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) Environmental Improvement Program (EIP) and focuses on roadway shoulder treatments to improve erosion control, drainage, and stormwater infiltration. The project components are divided into Priority 1 and Priority 2 areas. Components in Priority 1 areas may include soil and vegetation restoration, parking deterrents, rolled or vertical curb and gutter, storm drain pipe, vegetated cobbles, linear bioretention areas with spill curb openings, and treatment basins. Priority 2 areas may include any of the treatment included in Priority 1 as well as tilled in wooden tub grindings, or no treatment at all.
