The project is an update of the City of Pleasanton's General Plan which will guide development and conservation to 2025. The General Plan will maintain the City's 29,000 unit housing cap and will allow an additional 15 million sf. of commercial, office and industrial development as well as public facilities to serve this growth. Overarching goals of the plan are to maintain and enhance the quality of life for the community and to encourage sustainable development.
