Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2014-0197-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Meritage Homes of California, Inc.
The Sugarbush Residential Development Project includes the new development of 45 single family residences, roads, and associated infrastructure on a 115.5 acre property. On site stream impacts include replacing portions of streams with underground storm drains and fill to establish building pads and an internal road. Off site stream impacts are due to improvements of a secondary emergency access across Buena Creek. Riparian vegetation will be impacted along Cleveland Trail to accommodate road improvements between Buena Creek Road and the development. The project will permanently impact up to 0.06 acre of stream habitat, temporarily impact up to 0.02 acre of stream habitat, and re-establish a min of 0.12 acre of stream habitat as compensatory mitigation.
