Document Description
Project involves the annexation of real territory into the City of Greenfield consistent with the city's adopted SOI and agreements between the City, County and Monterey County LAFCO. Project is a subsequent action to approval of the "South End SOI Amendment Project" approved by the City in August 2006. Current action involves: the annexation of parcels as previously approved and recognized (243 acres); annexation of 47 additional acres previously included in City General Plan and SOI; subdivision of 47 acres into 149 single family dwelling units; completion of a Williamson Act contract cancellation and change process already underway; establishment of permanent agriculture conservation easements to mitigate loss of change process already underway; establishment of permanent agriculture conservation easements to mitigate loss of farmland, and processing of a minor subdivision (Monterey County) to retain 50 acres of farmland under County jurisdiction.
