Document Description
The City of American Canyon proposes to construct two above-ground welded steel water storage tanks located just outside the southeastern city limits. The proposed 2.5-MG tank will store potable water and help provide the necessary additional storage capacity for the City's water system, enabling the City to meet its water storage capacity goals. The proposed 1.0-MG tank will store reclaimed, tertiary-treated water from the City's wastewater recycling facility and will facilitate the City's reclaimed water program. The project also includes installation of two 18-inch pipelines which will convey both potable and reclaimed water to and from the water tanks plus one 18" high pressure pipeline for future connection to a high pressure pump station. The pipelines will be installed within a 25-foot wide permanent utility easement and a 10-foot wide temporary construction easement.
