Document Description
The stormwater runoff from the residential development project would be routed through stormdrain lines into an underground detention facility. From the detention facility, water would flow through a buried 24-inch utility line discharging into a perforated distribution line which allows water to flow through a rock energy dissipater. Work includes placement of 56 cubic yards of 14 ton riprap to slow and dissipate water flow prior to entering the creek channel. A utility trench would be excavated from the underground detention facility located outside the riparian corridor to the outfall and rock energy dissipater. Excavated material would be temporarily side cast along the trench and used as backfill once the 24-inch stormdrain line is installed. An access road will also be constructed to the outfall. CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0050-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, KB Home South Bay, Inc.
