Reasons for Exemption
This project consists of minor land alterations involving the removal of surface vegetation. A search of the Natural Diversity Database was completed in July of 2005 and results were reviewed with DFG and the District Botanist for the Sierra National Forest. A CDF archaeologist reviewed the project area and has required the relocation and flaggin of known sites to ensure avoidance during project implementation. Burning is not anticipated, but would only be done on approved air quality burn days. The project as proposed will not have a significant impact on the environment.
