Document Description
The proposed project is to enhance transit service in eastern Contra Costa County following an alignment in the State Route 4 median between the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station and the City of Antioch. There will be a transfer platform at Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station, a station at Railroad Avenue in the City of Pittsburg, and a terminus station near Hillcrest Avenue in the City of Antioch. Recommended rail technology involves trains using light weight, self propelled rail cars knows as Diesel Multiple Units.
