Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2005-0608-R5) to the project applicant, Jamir Adamo. Project activities include excavating and re-grading soils within the area of the existing landfill and adjacent area and covering the waste fill surface with a foundation layer, low permeability layer, and vegetation layer. This fill will extend into the stream in the southwest corner of the area of disturbance. These areas will be completed to a slope of 1:1 to 3:1, and were designed with a toe design to minimize the encroachment into the stream. Surface water drainage will be controlled by directing water that flows onto property from surrounding areas, as well as site runoff, into an engineered drainage feature that will be constructed on the final cover. Permeable riprap and gabion channel protection will be installed to reduce velocity and erosion. Short sections of channel will be lined with concrete where additional protection against erosion is required. Soil berms will be constructed at the edge of the top deck where surface runoff would flow down side slopes. The runoff will be collected and drainage into an open channel by asphalt concrete line down drains. Where closed depressions occur as the result of construction of the final cover section. The surface water will be discharged to the natural stream channel at the toe of the proposed landfill slope.
