Document Description
Zoning Ordinance Amendment, General Plan Amendment and approval of the proposed Northwest Area Specific Plan which compromises an approximate 80-acre mixed-use urban infill development project in the northwest portion of the City of Huntington Park. The proposed Specific Plan encompasses two adjacent land tracts: the Alameda and Slauson tract (Alameda/Slauson) to the southwest and the Pacific and Slauson tract (Pacific/Slauson) to the northeast. The proposed Specific Plan and the associated Program Environmental Impact Report will consist of, but not be limited to, big box discount retailers, discount department store retailers, department store retailers, home improvement retailers, junior department stores, electronic retailers, specialty retailers, prominent local retailers, and restaurants. The proposed project would also include up to 232 residential units.
